Scheduling and calendar events

Plan sessions on the team calendar, add details, and schedule events.

Plan sessions on the calendar

Use Scheduling to add the sessions and events your team needs to see. Set the date, start time, end time, event type, and repeat pattern if the event happens more than once.

The time you add here also matters later. Fractall.fit combines session time with athlete sRPE to calculate training load. A 60-minute session at RPE 6 is not the same as a 90-minute session at RPE 6.

  1. Open the calendarGo to Scheduling and choose week or month view.
  2. Create an eventClick the day or time where the session belongs.
  3. Set event detailsAdd the title, time, type, color, and day label.
  4. Add session detailsSet the expected training time for load tracking.
  5. Repeat sessionsSave time when a session repeats each week.
  6. Review load laterUse sRPE submissions to turn time into load.

Open Scheduling

Open Scheduling from the sidebar. You'll land on the team calendar, where you can see existing sessions and add new ones.

Scheduling gives your staff one shared calendar for team sessions and events.

Open the view selector to choose how you want to see the calendar. You can choose between month, week, and day view. Whatever suits your needs best.

Create an event

Click where the session belongs. In week view, click the time slot. In month view, click the day. Fractall opens the event form from the date or time you selected.

Set event details

Give the event a clear name. Add the date, start time, end time, and event type. Use color to better differenciate events from each other.

Add training-session details

If the event is a training session, open Training session details. This is where you add the details regarding the training session. For match days you have the same control as a regular training session, think of it as a special type of training session.Match days are really important because they are the basis to compute all the MD notation that appears in your calendar and date pickers.

Add the expected training time. Once athletes submit sRPE, we can combine this information to compute the training load.
Training load = Training session time x sRPE

Training time gives the sRPE submission the duration it needs.

Repeat sessions when needed

If the same session happens again, turn on Recurrence. Start by choosing how often it repeats. For example, repeat every 1 week for a weekly team session, or every 2 weeks for a session that happens every other week. Use Ends when the repeat pattern should stop after a certain date or number of sessions.

Set the interval, frequency, weekday, and end rule before saving the repeated event.

Review training load after sRPE

After the session, athletes submit sRPE from the mobile app.

Use sRPE for the athlete submission flow. Review the result in the Training Load tab. If you need to draw the session, add drills, or map out the pitch, use Training Plans. The calendar is for when the session happens. The plan is for what you want to run.
